Jose Rojas of Stockton California made his pro debut in Denver Colorado at the Motorola World Racquetball Championships presented by Verizon Wireless and show why he will be a force in the near future making the round of sixteen before losing to Alvaro Beltran in four games. November 25, 2007 - Greg Sheffield, the mastermind behind the racquetball scene at LA Fitness lost his battle with cancer. Greg was the real reason that racquetball has thrived and grown imensely at all the LA Fitness clubs around the country. His desire and passion for the sport has helped with the resergence of the sport of racquetball over the past few years. He will be deeply missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to Greg’s family and the LA Fitness family. A memorial fund has been established to help support Greg’s wife and daughters - Linda, Haley and Holly.
