Shuker rises to No.11 after Singles Masters
British No.1 Lucy Shuker has risen two places to No.11 in this week's women's singles world rankings after finising in sixth place in her first attempt at the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Singles Masters, the year-end highlight for eight of the world's leading players, in Amsterdam.

At the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, Britain's impressive haul of 42 golds, 31 silver and 29 bronze medals saw the team finish second only to hosts China in the medal table. In four year's time it'll be Britain's turn to host the Paralympic Games and so our attentions have turned to unearthing the next generation of Paralympic athletes.
