In his five matches Onufer did not give up a single point to his opponents. On Friday night he won by fall at 1:54 over Stanford's Victor Haug, giving Wyoming a large cushion on the way to UW's first dual win of the season. Onufer then bullied his way to the 174-pound crown on Saturday in the Elite Division at the 36th annual Cowboy Open. He posted a 4-0 record and was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.
