Many congratulations to Kirstie Jennings and Kelly Hanwell from Northamptonshire County - Winners of the Daily Mail Foursomes Trophy for 2008. Kirstie & Kelly reached the last 16 after playing throughout the season. The final was held at Dalmahoy and because of bad weather conditions instead of knockout matchplay the competition was decided on stableford points. Silverstone ladies team win a 5 day trip to Portugal!Nicki Turbayne (Ladies Captain), Denise Turvey, Janet Cox and Pat Ward won the qualifying round of the British Captains Tournament at Sand Martins GC, Wokingham in October with 71 points.
The format was the Captain scoring on each hole off full handicap with one other of the team members scoring off 3/4 handicap.
