Welcome to the Burnaby Velodrome!
Located in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia, the Burnaby Velodrome is a 200m wooden cycling track located inside one of three of North America's indoor velodromes. The track is covered by an air-supported roof, allowing for year-round racing.
2008-09 Burnaby Six Day - POSTPONED
Set to start December 2008 and culminating January 3, 2009, the fourth edition of the Six Days of Burnaby will be postponed until a similar holiday slot in 2009-2010. Burnaby Velodrome Club Program Coordinator and Six Day organizer Jeremy Storie cited poor economic conditions but primarily volunteer overload as reasons for having the event sit out a year.

Fall Scheduling
Attention BVC members and drop in users. Here is the start of your new fall schedule for September and October 2008. Regular Tuesday and Thursday morning workouts will commence in October with scheduled to be updated before end of September. LTR clinics will run as doubles for month of September and then back to singles per LTR evening to free up more Open time. Racing also starts Oct 3 and runs for 10 weeks before and 10 weeks after Christmas break. Schedule of races will be posted closer to October. Stay tuned.
Learn to Ride / Learn to Race - on Now!
Learn to Ride is back. Bring a friend, your pedals & shoes, your helmet, and get ready to have a lot of fun on Burnaby's 200m indoor track. Learn basic skills, how to ride a fixed gear bicycle, and master basic group riding techniques.

Workout Sessions
No matter what your level, get a great workout and learn the "ins and outs" of track riding under the constant watch of a coach. There are programs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, plus a full evening of structured training on Wednesday nights. Available free to members or for a small fee to those who drop in.
