All races are held in world class outdoor recreational locations and set against a backdrop of some of the most spectacular scenery in Canada. The stage race format sees all racers begin together, work their way against the clock through a multi-discipline course to the daily finish line. Each day you can expect an average of 6-10 hrs of racing. Distances and race routes are generally revealed at registration check-in the evening before the race. The races are often divided into several disciplines from paddling to mountain biking. Many racers use kayaks or canoes in the paddling component. During the trekking component some racers like to hike, walk, or run on the exciting trails. The mountain biking stages are fast and intense. And, although full suspension mountain bikes are great they are not required to complete the course. And of course, do not forget about the possibility of a rope-work course, and more often than not, a thrilling mystery challenge. You can race as a solo, team of 2, or team of 4 in single and mixed gender categories. Our title sponsor is Coast Mountain Sports.
