What Is Raid The Rock Adventure Race?
Raid the Rock is a 8-14 hour adventure race that covers approximately
50 miles of mountain biking, trekking/running, canoeing and rope elements.
Your three person coed (at least one female) team will navigate with
a map and compass the entire course. The course will traverse wilderness
and urban terrain with trekking/running, mountain biking and canoeing
in the central Arkansas.
What Is The Course Like?
Mileage ranges for each discipline are: Mountain biking 20-25 miles
(single track and roads), Trekking/running 10-15 miles (wilderness,
trails, dirt roads and city streets) and canoeing 10-15 miles (flat
water). Guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience!
Regional Qualifier for USARA National Championship
Raid the Rock will again be a regional qualifier for the 2008 USARA
Adventure Race National Championship. A $400 sponsorship will be paid
towards the entry fee for the winning Premier division team to go
to the National Championship.
