Our association has been instrumental in developing the sport of snowboarding in Atlantic Canada through our annual training leagues and provincial competition series. We also provide athletes with the structure and support to reach their goals of high level competition and currently boast two Olympians. The NSSA is a non-profit organization, a member of the Canadian Snowboard Federation, and an active member of Sport Nova Scotia. Our provincial competition series has several age categories for both males and females. All snowboarders age 11 and up are welcome to compete in the NSSA competition series and snowbaorders between the ages of 8 and 14 are invited to compete in our RBC riders series. The sport of snowboarding is growing with every turn. Come out for a weekend and experience the excitement!
