Jack Woodburn Written by Luis Escalona I received news today, maybe you already are aware, but Jack Woodburn suffered a Heart Attack in Chengdu China, the Hotel Doctors failed to diagnose the severity of his condition and ordered him home, the flight back at 34,000 feet did aggravate the delicate condition, upon arrival he was taken to the Hospital, where occlusion to two arteries was diagnosed also kidney failure along with other severe complications, he is now under induced coma, but there is doubts to his recovery, I would suggest to keep them in our prayersRegards Luis M. Hello to all,
While we were in China, we worked hard to see that all of our NABF champions are rated very high in the WBC ratings. As you know, many of our champions are now WBC champions, and the quality of our fighters in the past four years has improved immensely—they are recognized as contenders for world titles. In Las Vegas, our former NABF Light Heavyweight champion, Chad Dawson, recently defeated Antonio Tarver in a brilliantly fought bout. Many of the pundits felt that Antonio Tarver was too skilled and too experienced for Chad to be so successful. Congratulations, Chad!

Although Henry pitched a near shutout on the judges' cards, there was lots of action in this bout with the attendees at this private party event cheering - seemingly evenly for both men - from the start to finish.
