The Chapter Board of Directors have voted
to hold the annual chapter end of the year awards banquet and bar b q at
the BAR B Q MAN Restaurant Cantina on Monday, November 10 at 6 PM.
Please make every effort to attend and bring your state and local dues for
next season to the meeting.

CREW SHIRTS OFFERED AT DISCOUNT
The Chapter Board of Directors voted to
allow members to purchase a shirt with a chapter insignia on it. The
chapter will pay the first $20 toward the purchase of a shirt, and
members will be responsible for the remaining balance. Embroidme
located at 3906 South Padre Island Drive will have the shirts available,
and members should call or go by the location to make orders. The
phone number is 334-0898.
UPDATE ZEBRAWARE
Please take a moment to log into
Zebra Ware, the chapter assigning software, to update your
information. All officials are urged to update their email
addresses, home addresses, and phone numbers. Also you will need to
log on in order to put down any dates that you are not available to work
games. Please do this as soon as possible, so game assignments can be
made.
TRAINING SESSIONS SET
Training for officials will be at 6 PM on
days of chapter meetings at the Hospital Conference Center. Sessions will
include videos, play situations, mechanics, and rules discussions with
Dotson Lewis. All chapter members are encouraged to attend as many
sessions as possible throughout the season.
CHAPTER MEETING DATES
The 2008 chapter meeting dates have been
set. All chapter meetings will be at the Doctors Regional
Hospital Conference Center. It is located at the corner of Fort Worth Street and Texan Trail.
Training sessions will begin at 6 PM, followed by the general meeting at 7
PM. A complete list of meeting dates is found below.
